Today I heard the sad news that Rutger Hauer has passed away at the age of 75. An icon of my childhood and the actor who featured in many of my favourite sci-fi and fantasy movies.
These are my memorable three.

Wow this totally passed me by. Ladyhawke is still one of the films that cemented my love of fantasy.
